Walk-in bathtub installation
An old bathtub removed and replaced with a walk-in tub — subfloor rebuilt, walls waterproofed and the tub set and sealed.
About this project
For easier, safer bathing, the old tub came out and a walk-in tub went in. With the old tub removed we repaired the framing and subfloor, levelled the floor with self-levelling underlayment, installed cement board and waterproofed the walls around the tub area, then set the walk-in tub, connected it and sealed every joint.
