About this project
A new backsplash is one of the quickest ways to change how a kitchen feels. In one kitchen we replaced a plain glass backsplash with hexagon marble mosaic around the window, range and outlets. In a rustic kitchen with wood cabinets the owners wanted to keep, the old backsplash came off and a linear glass-and-stone mosaic added light and texture. In both, the wall was prepared first and the edges were finished cleanly.
