Home addition: studio suite with shower room
A cluttered side yard turned into a finished studio addition with an insulated floor, shower room, kitchenette and new entry door.
About this project
The side yard between the house and the fence was cleared and a new insulated floor was framed over it. We framed and insulated the walls and roof, roughed in plumbing and electrical, built a shower room with a waterproofed enclosure and glass door, and finished the space with drywall, LVP flooring, a stone-look feature wall, a kitchenette and a new entry door. The exterior cladding is shown as a separate project.
